Many members of staff are trained to NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care and Abbey Wood Lodge uses high-end technology and on-site training facilities to provide specific training in dementia.
Importantly, our teams are focused on establishing a rapport with residents while making them feel cared for and protected as they would be in their own homes, surrounded by their own family.
Residents at the care home can contact members of staff from their bedroom using the wireless care staff call system and each of the three floors has a dedicated care station.
