Getting to Abbey Wood Lodge Care Home

By Car

From Liverpool City Centre:

Head northeast on Tithebarn Street/A5046 toward Hackins Hey. Follow A5038 to Dunnings Bridge Road/A5036 in Bootle (5.0 mi). Use any lane to turn right at the 1st cross street onto Dunnings Bridge Road/A5036 .

Keep left to continue on Dunnings Bridge Road/A59. Continue to follow A59 (2.7mi). At Robbins Bridge Roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Northway/A59 (2.9 mi).

At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto County Road/A59. Follow County Road, passing the fuel station on your right. Abbey Wood Lodge Care Home will be on the right.

From Southport:

Head southwest on Lord Street/A565 towards Wellington Street (0.1 mi). At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Duke Street(0.5 mi).

Turn left onto Shakespeare Street (0.2 mi). Continue onto St James Street (0.1 mi). At the roundabout, take the 4th exit onto Scarisbrick New Road/A570 (1.4 mi).

At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit and stay on Scarisbrick New Road/A570. Slight right onto County Road/A59. Follow County Road. Abbey Wood Lodge Care Home will be on the left.

From Aintree:

Head towards Ormskirk Rd then, turn right and continue on. Using the second from the left lane, turn right onto Dunnings Bridge Rd. Keep left at Dunnings Bridge Rd and at Robbins Bridge Roundabout, take the second exit onto Northway and continue on.

At the roundabout at the top of Holborn Hill, take the second exit onto County Road. Abbey Wood Lodge will be on the right.

Starting as a care assistant in Cornwall at the age of 17, Gavin has 25 years of experience in social care. He progressed quickly, and was promoted to an Assistant Manager at just 22 years old. Gavin then became a Registered Manager and was instrumental in gaining several homes CQC ratings - “Good”, and “Outstanding”. Now at Abbey Wood Lodge, Gavin is focused on constantly improving the experience for the residents, families and team of our home.
